4. How much do I need to purchase an investment property?
A: You will typically need a down payment of 25% of the total purchase price for your investment. Generation Properties investment typically run between $95,000 to $160,000, as this is where we best meet our investors criteria for location, affordability, quality and cash flow
5. Can Generation help me obtain financing?
A: Yes! We have alliances with different brokers who deal with all of the banks, and will do their best to help you get financed at the best possible interest rate.
6. How do I qualify?
A: The broker will assist you in filling out the necessary forms to get qualified for your mortgage, and speak to the banks on your behalf.
7. What happens if rates go up? Can I still get positive cash flow?
A: We currently recommend locking in for a 5 year term. Your future cash flow can only be projected, with the best information available, and depends primarily on how your deal is structured at the time of your purchase.
8. Can I manage my own property?
A: Yes! Our job is simply to make the support available to you.
9. Who manages the property?
A: Each project is managed by an independent management firm, and the building operations are overseen by an appointed Board of Directors
10. What expenses am I responsible for?

11. How do I monitor the performance of my investment?
A: Annual or monthly statements can either be mailed to you directly, or emailed to you.
12. How do I exit from my investment?
A: While Generation Properties recommends that you hold on to your real estate investments, and utilize re-financing options to pull out needed cash, if you need to sell your investment you can sell your suite the same as any other real estate holding by putting it on MLS with a realtor or selling it privately.
